Strengthening internationalization strategies

The objective of WP2 is to enable institutions to strengthen and/or establish, as appropriate, their internationalization strategies. This strategy will be accompanied by an action plan for its implementation, as well as a communication strategy to promote the planned internationalization activities.

Training and Capacity Building of staff involved in the internationalization process

WP3 will provide training and strengthen the skills of staff involved in the internationalization process of Algerian universities (including leadership and management, administrative staff, and academic staff).

Operational and implementation phase

WP4 will enable the practical application of the knowledge acquired in WP3, in line with the internationalization strategy adopted in WP2. This phase is essential to strengthen the institution’s international visibility. Through this work package, key internationalization activities will be organized to enhance networking, mobility, project development, internationalization at home, etc.

  • Reports on the implementation activities of the internationalization strategy at the institutional level
  • Toolbox for internationalization in the Algerian context
  • Development of a terms of reference for the creation and establishment of an internationalization monitoring unit in each university

Quality assurance and risk management

WP5 focuses on establishing quality assurance principles and evaluation processes for the project and its outcomes. A quality control committee will be set up and will develop a quality assurance plan for the project.
